PEAK INSURE
Borrower insurance is where your savings hide.
Insurance can account for nearly a third of the cost of your loan. Thanks to the Lemoine law and insurance delegation, there is almost always a better option — without changing your loan.

Who it’s for
Every borrower — starting with those the bank prices badly.
- 01
Loan already under way
Your loan was signed with the bank’s insurance: the Lemoine law lets you switch at any time, free of charge, to a policy with equivalent cover.
- 02
Loan about to be signed
You have just received an agreement in principle: it is the best moment to present a delegated policy, before the loan offer is issued.
- 03
Specific profiles
Health condition, high-risk job or sport, senior borrower, non-resident: individual pricing often makes the difference.
Up to ⅓
of the total cost of the loan can come from borrower insurance alone.
At any time
the Lemoine law lets you cancel and switch insurance whenever you wish, free of charge.
Several thousand €
in frequent savings over the life of the loan, at equal or better cover.
In practice
Precision makes
the difference.
We check the equivalence of cover required by your bank, then put insurers in competition to cut the cost without weakening your protection.
01
Multi-insurer comparison
Putting several delegated insurers in competition, with cover at least equivalent to that required by your bank.
02
Lemoine-law delegation
Switching insurance at any time, free of charge, and with no health questionnaire under conditions of amount and age.
03
Specific profiles
Aggravated health risks, high-risk jobs or sports, senior borrowers: we find cover that accepts your profile at a fair price.
04
Reducing the overall cost
Analysis of the annual effective insurance rate (TAEA) and total cost, to measure the real saving over the whole loan.
How it works
A simple, risk-free insurance switch.
Step 1
Analysing your contract
We review your current insurance, its cover and its real cost over the remaining term.
Step 2
Finding alternatives
We compare delegated offers at equivalent cover and quantify the potential saving.
Step 3
Substitution formalities
We prepare the file and handle the substitution request with your bank.
Step 4
Setting it up
The new contract takes over with no interruption of cover and no change to your loan.

Frequently asked
What we’re often asked.
Can I really switch insurance at any time?
Yes. Since the Lemoine law, you can cancel and replace the insurance on your mortgage at any time, free of charge, provided you present cover that is at least equivalent. The bank cannot object if the equivalence of cover is respected.
Will I lose cover?
No — that is precisely our point of vigilance. We only offer contracts whose cover is at least equivalent to that required by your bank. Often, the saving even comes with better cover.
Is it worthwhile even if my loan is already under way?
Often, yes. The more capital and years you have left to repay, the greater the saving. Even halfway through, switching insurance can represent several thousand euros. We quantify the gain before any steps.
Can I choose my insurance as soon as I sign my loan?
Yes. Since the Lagarde law, you can present a policy from another insurer from the loan application onwards, provided it offers cover at least equivalent to that listed in the bank’s standardised information sheet (FSI). It is the best moment: the bank can neither change the loan rate nor charge fees in return.
Can my bank refuse my new policy?
Only if an equivalence criterion required in its FSI is not met. It must reply within ten working days of receiving the complete file and, if it refuses, give its reasons in writing, listing every missing criterion. The policy can then be adjusted and submitted again.
Will I have to fill in a health questionnaire?
No, if the insured share does not exceed €200,000 per person, across all property loans, and the loan ends before your 60th birthday (Lemoine law). Above that, a questionnaire may be required; the right to be forgotten and the AERAS convention then govern how past health conditions are assessed.
I have a health condition, a high-risk job or a high-risk sport: is it possible?
Yes, and this is often where delegation helps most. The bank’s group policy applies uniform rules, whereas an individual policy is priced on your actual situation. We look for the insurer that accepts your profile at a fair price, checking exclusions and any extra premiums.
How long does switching loan insurance take?
The timing depends mainly on the new insurer’s underwriting formalities. Once the complete file is sent, the bank has ten working days to reply, then issues a free amendment. The old policy ends on the start date of the new one, with no gap in cover.
How much could you save?
Send us your current contract: we quantify the possible saving, with no commitment.
